FAMILY, we will be gathering in the Tampa Bay area in July to fellowship and celebrate our first family reunion in 25 years!

Let's come together to enjoy a weekend of family, history, culture, and fun, with four generations of the Grillo family tree represented.

THURSDAY, JULY 25

CHECK-IN & HOSPITALITY

Arrivals into the Tampa Bay area. Hospitality suite at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach.

SATURDAY, JULY 27

FUN & FAMILY DAY

Day of fun and relaxation on the beach. Family banquet at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort (6 - 10 PM). Hospitality suite open.

FRIDAY, JULY 26

FAMILY HISTORY & FELLOWSHIP

Guided family history bus tour in Tampa. Lunch at Sociedad La Union Marti Maceo in Ybor City. Hospitality suite open.

SUNDAY, JULY 28

Reunion Schedule & Information

Thurs. July 25: Check-In and Hospitality

Arrivals into the Tampa Bay area.
Hospitality suite at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort beginning 10:00 AM.
The hospitality suite will have refreshments. Family members can pick up their t-shirts from the suite.

Friday, July 26: Family History & Fellowship

Charter bus departs at 10:00 AM from the Sheraton Sand Key Resort for the family history tour.
Family history tour departs from St. Peter Claver's Catholic School in Tampa at 11:00 AM.
Family luncheon at Sociedad La Union Marti Maceo in Ybor City, from 1:00 - 3:30 PM. The luncheon will feature traditional, Cuban food, music, and cash bar.
Bus returns back to St. Peter Claver and the Sheraton Sand Key Resort at 3:45 PM.
Attire: comfortable casual (reunion t-shirt, if you have one).
Hospitality suite at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort will be open throughout the evening.

Saturday, July 27: Family Banquet

Hospitality suite will be open throughout the day.
If you are driving to the Sheraton Sand Key Resort for the banquet, parking is free. Complimentary parking passes are available at the front desk.
Family photos at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort: 5:30 PM.
Family banquet at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort: 6:30 - 10:00 PM.
Dinner buffet served at 7:00 PM.
Cash bar from 6:30 - 9:30 PM.
Professional photos will be available for purchase during the banquet: $10 to $20 each.
Banquet attire: business casual, with a splash of the Cuban flag (red, white, or blue).

Sheraton Sand Key Resort Reservations

Our room block is currently SOLD OUT.

Reservations are "run of house", so rooms are assigned at check-in.
There are rooms with 2 queen beds and 1 king bed available. If you are traveling with more than one person and would like two queen beds, please call the hotel to note the number of people in your party and your request for two queen beds.
Rollaway beds are available for an additional charge, depending on availability.
You can upgrade to a guaranteed Gulf view room, for an additional charge, depending on availability. Call the hotel to upgrade.
Parking is $10 per day for family reunion guests and free for visitors with a handicapped parking sticker. If you are using handicapped parking, report this to the front desk when checking in.
There is no resort charge. Complimentary WiFi access.

Hospitality Suite

The Grillo Family Reunion Hospitality Suite is ROOM 821 in the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. The suite will be open beginning 10:00 AM Thursday morning (July 25).
The Hospitality Suite will have refreshments. We encourage family members who want to enjoy a drink to bring a bottle of your favorite liquor.
You can pick up your reunion t-shirt from the Hospitality Suite.

The Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL is our host hotel. Hotel amenities include 13 acres of private white-sand beach, pool, restaurants and bars, free wifi, fitness center, and complimentary use of the Clearwater Jolley Trolley.
